Church Council

The Council is the lead decision-making body in the church.  It is comprised primarily of chairpersons or team leaders of our committees and working teams, and other position-holders.  Council meets at least every other month to oversee and shepherd the ministries of the church, by hearing reports and acting on motions brought to Council by the church’s various committees and teams.  While there are some committee or team actions that do not need Council approval, the Council still remains informed and shepherds the decision-making and then the follow through of these actions.  The Council’s work with the other committees and teams is necessary for its role as a visionary committee that works with the Pastor to cast and re-cast our vision and mission that are the foundation of our ministries.
